JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented individual with experience in Data Analytics and Science to join our data team. This person will develop reports and analytical insights to understand and predict player behavior (product perspective) as well as optimize marketing operations (business perspective). We’re seeking candidates who are passionate about AI and eager to leverage AI-powered tools and techniques in their daily work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Problem Solving: Overcome challenges and find solutions on a daily basis.
  • Business Understanding: Gain a deep understanding of the company’s products, team goals and obstacles to identify business needs and context.
  • Data Management: Create, maintain, and manage datasets on cloud analytics platforms.
  • Dashboard Development: Design clear and user-friendly dashboards to track KPIs.
  • Data Interpretation: Interpret challenges and problems raised by Product and Marketing teams, and propose data-driven solutions through analysis and presentation.
  • Solution Validation: Assist in creating studies to validate and implement innovative solutions in games (A/B Tests, Simulations, etc.).

HARD SKILLS:

  • Education: Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience with Python and SQL, specifically in data analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for generating insights and storytelling.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Proficiency in Probability and Statistics for designing experiments and analyzing results.
  • Data Handling: Knowledge of data collection, structuring, and storage techniques.
  • Spreadsheets: Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Data Visualization: Familiarity with Business Intelligence solutions (Google Looker/Data Studio, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI).
  • Data Processing: Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Project/Software Development: Familiarity with project and/or software development cycles.
  • Language: Advanced English (oral and written).

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with different departments.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional ability to estimate and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and quickly.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Passionate, self-motivated, and capable of self-direction.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Basic understanding of user acquisition and performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of data governance best practices.
  • Familiarity with file versioning systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Experience in mobile app or game companies.

This position can be performed remotely, in a hybrid model, or on-site.
